Ingredients

  • pumpkin purée (or pumpkin pie filling)
  • vanilla extract
  • dark brown sugar
  • granulated sugar
  • butter
  • all purpose flour
  • sweet cream/milk
  • chocolate chips
  • pumpkin spice

  • stand mixer with paddle attachment
  • large bowl
  • measuring cup
  • large spoon or cookie scoop
  • parchment paper

How to Create the Perfect Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie

Set your chocolate chips to the side, they will be the last ingredient added. Add your dry ingredients to your large bowl. Add your wet ingredients to the bowl of a stand mixer. Your butter should be room temperature, you don’t want melted butter. Mix on low speed for about 3 minutes, or until well combined. Next, slowly add your flour mixture and mix on low to medium speed until well combined. For best results, keep the sweet cream/milk handy so you can add a splash if needed. Fold in the decadent chocolate chips with a spatula and lightly mix. Bake at 350 for 10-20 minutes depending on the size of your scoops.This easy recipe will yield you about 24 medium sized cookies with a chewy center and crispy edges.

  • 1 c unsalted butter room temp
  • 1 c dark brown sugar
  • 1 c granulated sugar
  • 8 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • ¼ tsp clove
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp allspice
  • tsp ginger
  • 3 tbsp sweet cream/milk
  • c chocolate chips
  • 2 ⅔ c flour

Instructions

  • Set your chocolate chips to the side, they will be the last ingredient added.
  • Add your dry ingredients to your large bowl.
  • Add your wet ingredients to the bowl of a stand mixer.
  • Mix on low speed for about 3 minutes, or until well combined.
  • Next, slowly add your flour mixture and mix on low to medium speed until well combined.
  • For best results, keep the sweet cream/milk handy so you can add a splash if needed.
  • Fold in the decadent chocolate chips with a spatula and lightly mix.
  • Bake at 350 for 10-20 minutes depending on the size of your scoops
